At Worldwin, we have developed a trusted direct connection many sugar refineries in Brazil. We have direct access to 12-14 sugar mills/refineries in Brazil. We do not have to work through a maze of brokers. Accordingly we can get answers exceedingly quickly, usually within hours. We need to know the following:
- Buyer must be able to issue a $100M SBLC, this is used to secure the sugar allocation.
- Need to know the Buyer’s Bank that will issue the SBLC. A top 50 World Bank is preferred, please see link on our homepage to banks.
- If you are not a Buyer, but a broker, we will work with you, but we need to know how many people are involved with your group. Ideally we would like to discuss the transaction with the End Buyer and we can introduce the Buyer to the Seller.
- Once we have all the above information, we would prefer an ICPO, please see below link for acceptable format for ICPO.
- Once the ICPO has been acceptably received, we will issue a Sales & Purchase Agreement, usually within a few hours.
All Certificates and documents will be delivered upon receipt of the operational SBLC at Seller bank. Seller does not provide Proof of Product prior to the issuance of the financial instrument by Buyer. For legal and confidential reasons, we do not provide historical data of other buyers, such as previous shipping invoices, bills of lading, carrier invoices, SGS reports, laboratory tests, performance certificates, product testing (POP), contracts, etc., or any sample document that violates International Chamber of Commerce regulations because it may be plagiarized or forged. We cannot reveal past performance or provide copies of documents, certificates, and the like.

The Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association (UNICA) is the largest organization in Brazil representing sugar, ethanol and bioelectricity producers. It was created in 1997, following a consolidation process involving regional organizations in the State of São Paulo after government deregulation of the sugar and ethanol sectors. UNICA members answer for more than 50% of all ethanol produced in Brazil and 60% of overall sugar production.
The organization is run by a Board of Directors composed of representatives of its member companies, and a full-time group of experienced executives, specialists and technical consultants whose expertise covers relevant areas such as the environment, technology, energy, international trade, corporate social responsibility, legislation, economics and communications. In late 2007, UNICA launched its first international office in Washington D.C. That was followed by the opening of its European office in Brussels.
UNICA’s expanding foreign presence is an integral part of its strategy to provide consumers, government officials, NGOs, the business community and the news media with up-to-date, detailed information on vital social, economic and environmental contributions of Brazil’s sugar, ethanol and bioelectricity sectors.
